Director – ESG Strategy and Consulting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as a public-facing subject matter expert by representing Sphera as a speaker at prominent industry conferences.

• Design and implement ESG frameworks alongside customers to aid their sustainability initiatives.

• Mentor and enhance the skills of consultants.

• Lead and coordinate resources on a global scale.

• Collaborate with Product Management (software), Project Management, and Sales teams.

• Pursue personal sales opportunities.

• Maintain essential relationships and accounts, facilitating the advancement of our clients' sustainability programs.

• Offer subject matter expertise to support our sales efforts in closing global business deals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in sustainability/ESG consulting and software development or integration.

• Proven experience in engaging directly with a diverse range of external stakeholders, including policymakers and investors.

• Charismatic, influential, innovative thinker with a genuine passion for ESG topics.

• Capability to mentor and develop others.

• Experience in change management.

• Highly developed oral and written communication skills.

• Knowledge of materiality assessment, Life Cycle Assessment, and Scope I, II, III.

• Understanding of the importance of leveraging software and data.

• Ability to determine relevant KPI measures and utilize LCA methodology to establish baseline carbon footprints for products and companies (e.g., Scope 1, 2, 3).
