This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement annual and long-term strategic plans for branding and marketing initiatives that align with organizational goals. Focus on enhancing campaign effectiveness against key performance indicators (KPIs) and uncover opportunities for innovative and transformative growth through foresighted planning.

• Define the strategic approach for both current and new campaigns, setting the benchmark for "execution with excellence" to achieve Make-A-Wish revenue and brand equity goals. Foster alignment and engagement across an extensive network of independent chapters within a federated structure.

• Lead by influencing a wide-ranging cross-functional network, extending beyond two direct reports who manage the daily execution of campaign strategies, plans, and tactics. Communicate campaign objectives to subject matter experts and mobilize resources across various teams, including Creative, Social Media, Earned Media, and Entertainment Marketing.

• Boost revenue growth by creating campaigns that promote mass-market fundraising (direct response, peer-to-peer) and enhance corporate partnership performance. Formulate strategies and plans that elevate revenue, ensuring that the Director’s team acts as partners and liaisons between revenue teams and the Brand & Marketing Department.

• Build and sustain robust relationships with external partners and agencies.

• Define, monitor, and evaluate campaign performance metrics, such as revenue impact, return on investment (ROI), brand reach, engagement, and chapter adoption, using insights to drive optimization.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least ten years of experience in strategic marketing or brand management roles.

• Proven experience in leading integrated, multi-channel campaigns at an enterprise or national level, including collaboration within matrixed organizations and with external agencies.

• A minimum of five years of experience successfully supervising, mentoring, and coaching a team of marketing professionals.

• Experience in designing and executing both qualitative and quantitative consumer research.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent presentation capabilities. This role necessitates effective interaction with senior management, the Board of Directors, staff, and external stakeholders.

• Strong judgment and creative problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to foresee risks and opportunities, with proficient negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

• Prior experience in nonprofit marketing or fundraising is preferred but not mandatory. An ideal candidate will have experience in partnership marketing within the nonprofit, sports, or entertainment sectors.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Fluency in AI is an advantage.
