Director, Engineering Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with engineering project management teams and manufacturing/packaging sites to guarantee the effective execution of capital projects that meet or surpass expectations.

• Spearhead asset management, engineering standards, and equipment reliability programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and the consistent application of best practices throughout the organization.

• Supervise all facets of E-Z Pak manufacturing, encompassing design, sourcing, assembly, testing, and deployment, while fostering continuous enhancements in reliability, asset utilization, and engineering capabilities across facilities.

• Formulate and execute policies, procedures, and best practices to promote consistent, top-tier performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or a related field) or equivalent experience.

• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in engineering within food manufacturing or GMP environments.

• Experience in leading capital projects, preferably in the $10MM–$35MM range.

• Strong background in engineering, maintenance management, and reliability programs.

• Documented success in project management, budget oversight, and cross-functional leadership.

• Familiarity with vendor negotiations, contracts, and procurement processes.
