Director, Engineering – Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Lead and expand the Infrastructure organization, managing the SRE/Infrastructure and Security teams.

• Collaborate with senior technical leaders to advance cloud infrastructure and enhance reliability, scalability, developer productivity, and operational effectiveness.

• Drive the team's strategic roadmap and execution, refine processes, enhance delivery, and mitigate operational risks.

• Act as a trusted technical leader representing Infrastructure with executive leadership and customers.

• Review architectural designs, offer technical guidance, and occasionally contribute code when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of engineering experience.

• A minimum of 5 years leading high-performing teams in infrastructure, platform, SRE, or DevOps engineering.

• Experience in managing senior and Staff-level engineers.

• Strong expertise in building and operating cloud infrastructure for B2B enterprise SaaS products, preferably in high-growth startups.

• Capability to balance strategic leadership with technical credibility, encompassing architectural reviews and technical discussions.

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills across engineering, executive leadership, and customer-facing teams.

• Bonus: Experience in leading Infrastructure and Security organizations.
