This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead engineering teams focused on product development to meet the Stratus roadmap objectives.
• Integrate engineering and AI capabilities to deliver solutions that are dependent on customer needs.
• Take charge of engineering deliveries and oversee what is released.
• Guide PODs in creating solutions that customers recognize and depend on.
• Establish delivery schedules, remove obstacles, and uphold quality standards.
• Directly interact with fabrication-shop customers through product discussions and workflow-centric design reviews.
• Remain engaged when production issues affect customers.
• Convert real-world workflow challenges into lasting product solutions in collaboration with Product and users.
• Utilize engineering judgment for feature, architecture, and simplification choices.
• Collaborate with the CTO and engineering leadership on decisions regarding Azure, MongoDB Atlas, and agentic-surface platforms.
• Foster an AI-centric engineering culture across design, development, and deployment.
• Enhance CI/CD processes, code review practices, observability, and lessons learned from incidents.
• Work alongside Product, Data, and Customer Success for cross-functional delivery.
• Integrate customer and field insights into engineering practices.
• Report to the CTO and collaborate with Directors, Senior Directors, Product, and GTM leadership.
• A minimum of 10 years in software engineering.
• At least 5 years of engineering leadership experience in a SaaS product company.
• Proven experience in building and delivering AI-enabled products that customers rely on in production.
• Experience in ensuring AI reliability in production environments.
• Background in making build-versus-buy decisions.
• Familiarity with cloud-native SaaS architecture.
• Preference for Azure experience.
• Proficient in C# or .NET.
• Experience with MongoDB or document databases is advantageous.
• Experience in a rapidly growing customer environment where poor releases had significant consequences.
• Track record of developing a team for greater impact while maintaining existing strengths.
• Experience in hiring at least one exceptional candidate and articulating the rationale for hiring decisions.
• Strong customer and product focus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with distributed and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in MEP, fabrication, or construction technology is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with Autodesk or similar tools is a plus.
• Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, or field operations software is beneficial.
• Hands-on experience with LangGraph, MCP, or agentic orchestration frameworks is a bonus.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. will be verified after hire through E-Verify.
