This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide leadership in engagement throughout the EHR lifecycle.
• Oversee end-to-end implementation, go-live, and post-live optimization engagements, which include command center operations, cutover and conversion strategies, defect management, adoption planning, and necessary stabilization activities to ensure a fully functional system.
• Enhance revenue cycle performance.
• Lead revenue cycle implementation and optimization efforts that have a measurable impact on key financial metrics, such as net collection rate, cash acceleration, denial rate, accounts receivable days, cost-to-collect, and clean claim rate.
• Link technical configurations—charging, claims, remittance, 835/ERA, cash posting, and banking transitions—to financial outcomes that are transparent to client leadership.
• Improve patient throughput and logistics.
• Direct engagements across capacity and patient logistics platforms, including Grand Central, Transfer Center, and Capacity Command Center, connecting bed management, transfer operations, and command center workflows to outcomes like length of stay, transfer acceptance, capacity utilization, and patient flow.
• Manage executive relationships.
• Act as a trusted advisor to CFOs, COOs, CIOs/CMIOs, and revenue cycle and operational leaders. Anticipate client needs and evolve individual engagements into long-term, multi-workstream relationships.
• Drive account growth and practice development.
• Take ownership of account strategy and growth, lead pursuit efforts and proposal creation, and exercise sound commercial judgment in scoping and pricing.
• Contribute to the practice’s development through delivery frameworks, methodologies, and the mentorship and advancement of consulting staff.
• Provide thought leadership.
• Promote a clear, evidence-based perspective on adoption and sustainability—the elements that determine whether a build, optimization, or other consulting solutions endure past go-live—and apply this insight to engagement design.
• Bachelor’s degree required, along with a minimum of 10+ years of relevant consulting and/or work experience.
• Proven, repeated success in leading EHR implementations, go-lives, and optimizations through stabilization at a lead or director level.
• Demonstrated expertise in revenue cycle management, with a strong understanding of hospital finance metrics and the configuration decisions that affect them.
• Successful track record in patient throughput and logistics, including experience with capacity command centers, transfer centers, and bed and flow operations (Grand Central, Transfer Center, Capacity Command Center).
• Established history of managing client accounts and fostering executive (C-suite) relationships into sustained, expanding engagements.
• A well-formed, evidence-based perspective on adoption and sustainability for build and other consulting solutions, with the capability to articulate and defend this viewpoint to senior executives.
• Strong leadership judgment in uncertain environments, credibility to advise at the executive level, and a proven commitment to developing others.
