Director, Education

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture robust, collaborative relationships with state education agencies (SEAs) and other stakeholders.

• Perform needs assessments and create as well as deliver technical assistance that effectively meets client requirements.

• Oversee and adjust technical assistance as necessary.

• Collaborate with project evaluators to gather and analyze evidence.

• Serve as a point of contact for clients.

• Lead and organize technical assistance teams to guarantee the delivery of exceptional services to clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctorate in education, social sciences, public administration, or related fields.

• Over 10 years of experience at the state and/or national level in working with K-12 education policies, regulations, and systems.

• More than 10 years of experience in developing and providing technical assistance to state and district educators and leaders.

• At least 10 years of experience conducting needs assessments and creating as well as delivering technical assistance that effectively addresses client needs.

• Over 10 years of experience producing high-quality technical assistance materials, such as information briefs, white papers, tools, presentations, and processes.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience collaborating with multiple states in the region (VA, TN, KY, or WV).

• At least 5 years of experience overseeing or managing large-scale federal grants or contracts.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience managing teams of up to 40, including subcontractors with personnel management responsibilities.
