This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish the vision for how the organization leverages digital communications to foster advocacy and drive action.
• Direct a comprehensive multi-channel digital program that persuades, mobilizes, and cultivates an active community of advocates.
• Maintain consistency in voice, messaging, and approach across all platforms.
• Oversee organic social media efforts and collaborate on paid social strategies to enhance reach and stimulate action.
• Develop content strategies and manage campaign calendars.
• Produce platform-specific content, including short-form videos.
• Utilize performance data to refine digital strategies.
• Manage the organization's email strategy for newsletters and campaigns.
• Construct engagement ladders to prompt audiences into action.
• Collaborate on website strategy, ensuring that content aligns with advocacy objectives.
• Implement SEO best practices to enhance visibility.
• Supervise digital tools to support targeting and impact.
• Over 7 years of experience in digital communications, preferably in advocacy, nonprofit, or political campaigns.
• Utilize digital channels to persuade, mobilize, and influence rather than just inform.
• Consider how channels and audiences interconnect from a systems perspective.
• Develop strategy and ensure effective execution.
• Excellent writing skills with a clear, consistent voice across various platforms.
• Proficient in social media publishing tools such as Sprout Social and monday.com.
• Familiar with content management systems like WordPress and Elementor.
• Knowledgeable about SEO and the impact of AI on search and discovery.
• Capable of creating or directing engaging visual and video content using tools like Canva and Adobe Suite.
• Experience in running paid social and digital advertisements (Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads) with audience targeting and budget management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with sound judgment and keen attention to detail.
• Use data to inform decisions based on significant engagement.
