This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.
• Develop, implement, and enhance a robust data governance framework that encompasses data policies, standards, and processes.
• Establish the technical roadmap for master data hubs, addressing both real-time and batch integration.
• Integrate data rules into systems through API validation, schema constraints, and lineage tracking.
• Create and lead a Data Stewardship program.
• Define metrics for data quality and oversee the monitoring and resolution of any issues.
• Maintain the enterprise data catalog and business glossary to ensure a unified source of truth.
• Collaborate with Legal and IT departments to ensure compliance with data privacy (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and security standards.
• Evaluate the organization's data literacy, identifying skill gaps and providing customized training programs.
• A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Management, IT, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in data management is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM) or Data Architecture.
• Certification as a CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) or DGSP (Data Governance Services Professional) is preferred.
• Experience in performing root cause analysis on data and processes to identify improvement opportunities.
• A comprehensive understanding of metadata, master data management, data architecture, and data modeling; familiarity with data quality applications and tools.
• Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams, both internal and external (e.g., vendors), utilizing IT project lifecycle methodologies.
