Director, Cybersecurity Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and nurture a developing cybersecurity team.

• Propel the execution of enterprise cybersecurity initiatives and strategic priorities.

• Manage cybersecurity operations, encompassing threat detection, monitoring, and incident response.

• Collaborate with business and technology leaders to weave cybersecurity into critical decisions and processes.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory, audit, privacy, and industry security standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, technology risk, or a similar field, with at least 5 years in leadership positions.

• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-achieving teams.

• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Experience in presenting to executives, boards, clients, regulators, or other senior stakeholders.

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity operations, security engineering, incident response, and governance.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards, including NIST and ISO.

• Proficiency in English is essential for fulfilling the responsibilities of the position.
