Director, Customer Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Formulate and execute strategic sales initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.

• Create and implement Joint Business Planning (JBP) objectives with Walmart and Sam’s Club.

• Design strategies to enhance the growth of Brands and Categories.

• Oversee sales forecasting and projection efforts for Holistic Health brands.

• Manage the Trade budget and evaluate spending efficiency with a focus on achieving strong ROI.

• Handle Deduction Management.

• Comprehend the customer’s go-to-market strategy to optimize sales efficiency.

• Maintain, nurture, and expand both existing and new relationships with customers at the executive level, including Senior Divisional, Buyer, and Senior Buyer roles.

• Achieve budget objectives and new product distribution targets.

• Oversee the Trade budget and assess spending efficiency with an emphasis on robust ROI.

• Conduct monthly reporting, sales analytics, and insights; grasp the go-to-market strategy to enhance sales efficiency.

• Manage customer P&L.

• Execute other responsibilities as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8-10 years of experience in National Account sales.

• A minimum of 8 years of successful outside sales experience in Club, Grocery, Drug, and/or Mass retail channels is essential.

• Experience using syndicated data to identify customer needs and establish effective pricing and promotional strategies that drive sales and market share for both the company and its clients.

• Knowledge of Project Management, with experience in setting up and managing projects within a complex, fast-paced environment.

• Understanding of relationship management, with an experience and mindset geared towards collaborating with partners to achieve objectives.

• Prior experience in category management processes and implementation.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
