This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary contact for DBV relationships and B2B interactions with designated accounts.

• Recognize competitive challenges and formulate response strategies to secure optimal product access.

• Create and manage account-specific plans for assigned national or regional payers, encompassing formulary strategies, coverage policy goals, and contracting priorities.

• Build and sustain executive-level relationships with medical directors, pharmacy directors, and decision-makers on formulary committees.

• Lead negotiations and contracting discussions with payers in collaboration with the Market Access contracting team, ensuring coherence with the overall pricing strategy.

• Convey the clinical, economic, and humanistic value of Viaskin® Peanut to payer audiences, translating HEOR data and real-world evidence into relevant insights for decision-making.

• Clearly communicate the unique profile of EPIT as a groundbreaking, non-invasive immunotherapy in a competitive and evolving landscape for food allergy treatment.

• Create and present customized account-specific value dossiers and budget impact models in partnership with HEOR and medical affairs.

• Anticipate and proactively resolve payer policy inquiries and potential coverage obstacles before product launch.

• Collaborate with patient services and hub operations to ensure reimbursement processes are aligned with payer coverage decisions.

• Assist in the creation of payer-facing materials and market access tools alongside marketing and regulatory teams.

• Establish KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

• Work closely with Regional Account Manager(s) and sales leadership to enhance field force communications regarding relevant reimbursement topics and maximize effectiveness.

• Represent the payer perspective internally, supplying competitive intelligence, formulary landscape updates, and account-specific insights to inform brand strategy.

• Collaborate closely with field outcomes teams to ensure cohesive engagement with accounts.

• Represent market access during account-level business reviews and brand team planning cycles.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree is required; an Advanced Degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in biotech/pharma Market Access, including previous leadership roles in account management and/or sales management.

• Must complete all necessary safety and certification training and maintain a satisfactory driving record regarding accidents and incidents.

• Requires travel exceeding 50% of the time.

• Experience in integrating Health Economics and Medical Affairs resources into access planning is essential.

• Proven ability to collaborate with a diverse matrix of internal stakeholders (e.g., Market Access Account team, field sales, brand marketing, Medical, legal, compliance, Trade, Patient Services, Data & Analytics) to achieve access objectives.

• Ability to foresee future policies, practices, and trends that will impact payer management and access decision-making in the market.

• Experience in spearheading pull-through initiatives with sales leadership and field sales teams.

• Strong understanding of Market Access Payer and PBM (Commercial and Managed Medicaid).

• Well-developed negotiation skills are required.

• A high level of awareness and understanding of the implications and opportunities presented by contract strategy.

• Experience in identifying trends and insights and integrating them into broader strategic development.

• Maintain precise account profiles and document customer interactions via CRM.
