This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement the global strategy, roadmap, and operating model for contract operations.
• Set enterprise-wide benchmarks for contract intake, prioritization, assignment, workflow execution, escalation, and service delivery.
• Facilitate alignment of contracting operations across various regions, business units, functions, and contract types.
• Recognize operational risks, scalability issues, and process inefficiencies while creating long-term solutions.
• Provide guidance to senior leadership on operational strategy, resource planning, and transformation opportunities.
• Spearhead enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives that emphasize efficiency, standardization, automation, and scalability.
• Manage and enhance global intake, triage, assignment, and workflow management processes.
• Develop and uphold global Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process maps, RACI models, and operational documentation standards.
• Champion cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing contracting effectiveness and stakeholder experience.
• Lead and nurture contract intake and administrative support teams.
• Collaborate with Legal leadership to align resources and provide operational support.
• Act as the business owner for contract operations technology and the adoption of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems.
• Work alongside Legal, IT, Procurement, Sales, and business stakeholders to define CLM priorities, integrations, and future capabilities.
• Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), change management, training, adoption, and post-implementation optimization.
• Establish the reporting strategy for contract operations and create a performance management framework.
• Set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), service level expectations, and operational health metrics.
• Deliver actionable insights, trend analysis, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
• Govern operational policies, procedures, workflows, and controls related to contracting.
• Collaborate with Legal and Compliance leadership to align with enterprise risk management protocols.
• Ensure operational readiness for audits, regulatory requirements, and governance reviews.
• Proven experience in leading global contract operations, legal operations, compliance operations, or business operations functions.
• Track record of successfully developing and implementing operational strategies and transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to create scalable operating models, governance frameworks, and performance management programs.
• Experience in leading enterprise process improvements, workflow optimization, automation, and technology adoption initiatives.
• Strong executive presence with the capacity to influence senior leaders across various functions.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and change management skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and strategic planning abilities.
• Experience in managing geographically diverse teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Juris Doctor is preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in contract operations, legal operations, contract management, compliance operations, business operations, process management, or related fields.
• At least 7 years of progressive leadership experience, including managing globally distributed teams.
• Demonstrated experience in enterprise process transformation, technology implementation, governance programs, or operational excellence initiatives.
• Preferred experience supporting legal, contracting, compliance, procurement, or commercial organizations.
• Preferred familiarity with CLM platforms such as IntelAgree, Icertis, Ironclad, Agiloft, and DocuSign CLM.
• Preferred experience with Salesforce, CPQ platforms, workflow automation tools, and enterprise technology implementations.
• Preferred background in leading digital transformation and AI-enabled process initiatives.
• Experience in project management and organizational change management.
• Experience supporting global operations across various regions and business units.
