This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop processes, implement tools, and spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing prioritization, planning, delivery, launch, monitoring, and optimization of products and services throughout Baylor Genetics.
• Direct enterprise product optimization efforts with an emphasis on operational efficiency, quality enhancement, customer experience, workflow streamlining, and business performance improvement.
• Create and sustain lifecycle management frameworks for Baylor Genetics’ test offerings and associated platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Commercial, Laboratory, Clinical, and Operational teams to pinpoint continuous improvement opportunities.
• Aid in optimizing test menus, rationalizing portfolios, and making lifecycle decisions.
• Set operational standards within the Product and Program Management division.
• Identify and eliminate organizational bottlenecks that hinder delivery performance.
• Foster accountability and advocate for best practices in program management, product operations, business practices, and organizational execution.
• Assist in enterprise Roadmap Planning and its governance structure.
• Establish Product Optimization and Operations KPIs, and create executive dashboards and reporting systems.
• Implement measurement and reporting for portfolio health, delivery performance, launch readiness, operational efficiency, time-to-market, laboratory throughput, turnaround times, revenue performance, reimbursement results, quality metrics, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence and Data Analytics teams to automate operational reporting and insights.
• Leverage performance data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities.
• Maintain a prioritized list of improvement initiatives that align with strategic objectives.
• Implement scalable governance, workflow, and decision-making frameworks.
• Encourage process standardization and simplification across product, operational, and clinical functions.
• Lead cross-functional teams in executing process improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, Engineering, Product Management, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in Product Operations, Product Management, Portfolio Management, Program Management, Product Lifecycle Management, or related areas.
• At least 5 years of experience leading cross-functional enterprise-level programs or optimization roles.
• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership position.
• Proven track record in planning and executing complex initiatives, facilitating kaizens, managing change, and enhancing processes.
• Strong executive communication abilities.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Preferred experience in diagnostics, genomics, laboratory services, healthcare technology, biotechnology, or regulated healthcare environments.
• Familiarity with CLIA, CAP, FDA, and regulated healthcare settings.
• A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Skills in process optimization and stakeholder facilitation.
• Excellent executive communication skills.
• Experience in change management, governance, and leadership in adoption.
• Ability to operate in a primarily remote/office-based environment with extended periods of computer-based work.
• Occasional travel may be necessary.
• Capability to comply with regulated healthcare, laboratory, quality, and compliance standards.
