This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the development and implementation of comprehensive consumer marketing strategies for Xywav targeting narcolepsy and idiopathic hypersomnia.
• Enhance and refine the entire patient journey from disease awareness and demand generation to treatment initiation, engagement, and loyalty.
• Create strategic consumer brand plans, annual tactical plans, messaging architecture, claims documents, and patient-focused communication strategies.
• Collaborate with HCP Marketing, Commercial Strategy, and various cross-functional stakeholders for integrated brand planning and execution.
• Direct consumer competitive intelligence and lead strategic planning efforts.
• Own the complete consumer and patient journey strategy.
• Develop programs for disease awareness and branded consumer engagement.
• Work alongside Patient Services to align marketing initiatives with patient support programs.
• Drive patient advocacy strategy and foster relationships with advocacy organizations.
• Manage advocacy events, patient education programs, and patient ambassador initiatives.
• Supervise testimonial content, website integration, video production, and social media activation.
• Lead consumer creative campaigns and refresh existing campaigns across both digital and print channels.
• Oversee the creation of patient education materials, starter kits, onboarding resources, welcome kits, and patient support communications.
• Conduct consumer market research, tracking studies, patient insights programs, audience understanding, measurement, social listening, and market intelligence.
• Manage consumer marketing budgets, financial planning, investment prioritization, and resource allocation.
• Oversee the consumer agency of record and manage key consumer agencies and partners.
• Review agency statements of work and ensure necessary approvals.
• Collaborate with HCP Marketing, Patient Services, Analytics & Insights, Customer Experience, Finance, Medical, Patient Advocacy, Sales, and Market Access.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• An MBA is preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing with a strong focus on consumer/direct-to-patient marketing.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial roles, marketing, sales, product management, or related fields within pharmaceuticals.
• Experience in rare diseases and sleep medicine is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and/or collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Capability to adapt to change and advance projects and team members efficiently.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including interactions with leadership teams.
• Ability to seamlessly transition between strategy, planning, and execution with precision and detail orientation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, project management, and organizational skills.
• Recent experience with a customer experience team and/or a centralized marketing center of excellence supporting brand marketing efforts.
• Demonstrated career progression within pharmaceuticals showing increased responsibility and scope, especially in commercial roles.
• Willingness to travel domestically approximately 20–30% of the time.
• Frequent use of computers, communication devices, and standard office equipment.
• Availability to occasionally work outside standard business hours to fulfill business requirements.
