This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• As a Director, your primary responsibility will be to formulate and execute the most effective strategy for engaging with and maximizing the Precision Oncology portfolio across targeted customer segments.
• You will lead the account team dedicated to establishing partnerships and selling to key cancer centers through our Precision Oncology Portfolio.
• You will have direct accountability for selecting the ideal mix of strategic accounts among national and oncology groups.
• Your core responsibilities will encompass Oncology Sales and Commercial Leadership, crafting and implementing detailed strategic value-based plans, business planning and execution, project management, team development, and effective communication.
• Collaborate with a diverse cross-functional team that includes Field Sales Directors, members of the Screening Account team, Project Managers, Medical Affairs, Reimbursement/Market Access, Marketing, Analytics, Contracting/Compliance/Privacy, and IT technology.
• Continuously enhance the skills of team members to ensure that sales volumes meet or exceed the designated regional sales targets.
• Build a robust network of contacts and relationships within strategic account organizations and health systems, including at the C-suite executive level.
• Recognize and engage with key stakeholders in those organizations to influence them toward achieving specific business goals.
• Formulate a National Strategy that will drive account-based business plans and leverage capabilities from enabling functions.
• A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a relevant field related to the essential duties of the position.
• More than 10 years of demonstrated success in business development and sales within a complex healthcare market environment, ideally in the Biotech, Pharma, or Medical Device sectors.
• At least 5 years of sales experience in oncology.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales management experience.
• Over 5 years of account management experience, specifically working alongside customer executives.
• A proven record of leadership with a demonstrated capability to cultivate strong sales teams.
• Ability to integrate and utilize feedback professionally, prioritize tasks, and strive for results while emphasizing quality; must be able to work collaboratively and think strategically.
• Proficient writing and presentation skills, including memos, letters, reports, presentations, data analysis spreadsheets, databases, RFPs, and presentations.
• Strong computer skills, including Internet navigation, email usage, and word processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Capability to meet any requirements set forth by healthcare facilities for access (e.g., vaccination or mask mandates).
• A valid driver's license is required; no suspended, revoked, surrendered, or invalid licenses are acceptable.
• No more than two moving violations, events, or accidents in the past 36 months.
• No alcohol or drug-related incidents involving a vehicle driven by the candidate or employee in the past 36 months, including Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) failures or refusals to submit to tests.
• No other results from the Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) check that would expose Exact Sciences to an unacceptable level of liability.
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
• Proven ability to perform the Essential Duties of the role with or without accommodation.
