This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define and take ownership of Antora's global go-to-market strategy for energy products, which encompasses capacity sales to utilities, participation in wholesale markets, and direct sales to large consumers.
• Develop the commercial roadmap for energy product offerings in both US and international markets.
• Establish product positioning, pricing strategies, and deal structures to optimize value capture while mitigating risk.
• Set guidelines and templates for deal execution teams and serve as the final authority on non-template commitments.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with strategic partners, including utilities, hyperscalers, large industrial clients, government entities, and development partners.
• Explore global markets for new deployment opportunities and create selection criteria and frameworks for market entry decisions.
• Lead discussions on M&A, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships to accelerate large-scale deployment of LDES.
• Keep track of the evolution of energy and capacity markets (both in the US and internationally) to spot emerging opportunities and guide product development.
• Convert market dynamics into actionable product requirements and drive product decisions based on market fit.
• Innovate new commercial frameworks and market structures that add value for LDES.
• Collaborate with the policy team to influence regulations and market rules that foster business opportunities for long-duration storage.
• Act as a corporate spokesperson on topics related to energy markets and commercial strategy.
• Represent Antora at executive leadership forums, Board meetings, and with investors, driving narratives on commercial strategy.
• Provide testimony in regulatory proceedings and contribute thought leadership that influences industry direction.
• Over 15 years of experience in energy markets, power development, utility commercial roles, or infrastructure finance, with a progressive increase in leadership responsibilities.
• Proven track record of successfully closing large and complex energy transactions, preferably with cumulative signature transactions of ≥$500M.
• Extensive knowledge of wholesale power markets, capacity markets, utility procurement, and the economics of energy storage or flexible resources.
• Experience in creating go-to-market strategies and commercial frameworks for new products or market entry.
• Ability to build and sustain relationships with C-suite executives from utilities, hyperscalers, and strategic partners.
• Experience advocating for an organization in regulatory proceedings, investor forums, or industry coalitions.
• Strong strategic judgment, with the capacity to translate intricate market dynamics into commercial initiatives.
• Executive presence and effective communication skills; comfortable presenting to Boards and investors.
