This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +11 more states.
• Engage in extensive outbound calls to prospects and clients to secure larger deals and create new opportunities.
• Revenue Generation: Cultivate, realize, and sustain additional revenue by promoting and selling GGS products and services “to,” “through,” and “with” potential customers within the designated territory and/or assigned accounts.
• Proficiently utilize CRM software to log all sales activities, manage the sales pipeline, and identify, track, and facilitate the closure of significant opportunities.
• Foster ongoing relationships with multiple contacts across client organizations and effectively leverage internal resources to ensure seamless delivery of products/services and payment.
• Timely processing of all sales order documentation.
• Swiftly resolve customer conflicts.
• Travel within the specified geographic territory as needed.
• Must reside in a major metropolitan city within the territory.
• Attend and travel to trade shows for product promotion as required, as well as internal sales meetings organized by the company.
• Maintain a consultative or solutions-oriented approach to selling.
• Familiarity with banking core systems and teller platforms is advantageous.
• BA or BS degree is preferred.
• Over 7 years of solution-based sales experience is preferred, ideally in non-commoditized solutions.
• Sales experience in the banking sector is a plus.
• The position requires a “hunter mentality” with proven success in identifying and connecting with decision-makers to drive sales results.
• Must be organized, self-motivated, and capable of following a structured sales process while developing and executing an enthusiastic sales plan.
• The qualified candidate must be able to provide a solution-oriented sales approach (versus solely product selling) to senior executives.
• Strong account management, closing, and “win-win” negotiation skills are essential.
• Exceptional business writing and communication abilities are required.
• Must be able to create, modify, and deliver impactful PowerPoint presentations at all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft applications is necessary.
• Experience in designing and negotiating successful sales proposals, including calculating pricing to achieve gross profit objectives, is required.
• The ideal candidate will reside in ME, NY, MD, DC, DE, NJ, WV, RI, CT, VT, NH, or PA, and live within 60 miles of a major airport.
