This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• This role leads and manages the team tasked with ensuring accurate coding throughout the system.

• Accountable for enhancing coding quality and providing staff training.

• Guarantees the precision of coding assignments through the application of random auditing techniques.

• Handles inquiries from the Central Business Office concerning medical record reviews for outpatient/inpatient billing related to claims being held for the National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI).

• Regularly conveys coding procedures and program updates through mass communications to physicians, clinical operations personnel, and leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• A relevant certification from AHIMA or AAPC is mandatory upon employment.

• A High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) is required.

• At least 5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role is necessary.

• A minimum of 8 years of pertinent experience is required.
