This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.
• Supervise a team of high-level individual contributors or managers.
• Ensure the timely, successful, and high-quality delivery of organizational project outputs.
• Allocate client projects with appropriately skilled professionals and focus on staff retention and development.
• Foster new business opportunities through project proposals and client presentations.
• Offer consultation services to project teams.
• Oversee project performance and documentation in collaboration with project, functional, and client leadership.
• Contribute as a senior member of project teams when designated, including status reporting and attending project meetings.
• Provide expertise, facilitate the collection of metrics, and formulate action plans to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Manage team and departmental resources, assignments, quality assurance, and delivery efficiency.
• Create and oversee project resourcing plans.
• Offer executive oversight for large projects as necessary.
• Provide technical support, performance oversight, training coordination, and talent development.
• Recruit, retain, nurture, and inspire skilled teams.
• Engage in performance evaluations and salary reviews, while developing management pipelines.
• Generate business leads, assist in proposals, and serve as the local client contact when required.
• Participate in system enhancements, standards and process improvements, change management, and quality initiatives.
• Maintain productivity, billability, compliance, project resourcing, departmental metrics, and stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure adherence to ICH Guidelines, Good Clinical Practices, regulatory requirements, and Parexel SOPs.
• Exemplify teamwork, communication, leadership, and effective line management.
• Extensive work experience, particularly in management roles, within the clinical research field.
• A degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, or another health-related discipline, or an equivalent nursing qualification or relevant clinical experience.
• Proficient in both Czech and English.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with experience in presentations.
• Adaptable attitude towards assignments and a willingness to learn.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in computer applications, including CTMS, EDMS, EDC, IWRS, and MS Office.
• Experience working in a matrix organizational structure.
• Capability to manage managers and lead a global virtual team.
• Skilled in managing a full workload across various projects and tasks while prioritizing with attention to detail.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing, and organizational skills.
• A client-focused mindset.
• Ability to manage and motivate direct reports as well as the broader team.
• Familiarity with ICH Guidelines, Good Clinical Practices, regulatory agency requirements, and Parexel SOPs.
