Director, Clinical Development – MD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide clinical oversight and medical monitoring for one or more clinical trials focused on neurology and/or autoimmune diseases.

• Contribute to the design and execution of clinical studies, encompassing early-phase and proof-of-concept trials.

• Draft and/or review protocols, protocol amendments, investigator brochures, clinical study reports, informed consent forms, safety narratives, and various other clinical trial documents.

• Engage in investigator meetings, site engagement initiatives, and selected site initiation activities alongside clinical trial investigators.

• Assist in executing clinical development plans by identifying study risks, proposing mitigations, and aiding in the tracking of milestones, deliverables, and budget-conscious study decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO is required.

• Approximately 2 to 5 years of experience in clinical, scientific, and/or drug development within biopharma, academia, healthcare, or similar environments.

• Proficient knowledge of clinical trial design, protocol development, safety review, and Good Clinical Practice.

• Ability to work effectively within a matrixed, cross-functional team setting.
