This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Monitor global market dynamics related to key industries, pertinent vendors, emerging technologies, and best practices to guide CIOs and IT Executives.
• Establish credibility as an expert in AI and platform technology, representing Gartner Business and Technology Insights.
• Engage in brainstorming sessions and cohort discussions on technical issues impacting CIOs, with a focus on AI.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to provide thought-provoking insights for C-level clients.
• Develop evidence-based, easily digestible, defensible, and actionable content.
• Provide high-quality, actionable recommendations to CIOs, AI Leaders, and Technology Executives.
• Create and present materials for webinars, executive briefings, and client-facing events.
• Offer exceptional sales and service support to maintain and expand the Gartner client base.
• Recognize opportunities for research process enhancements or establish new processes to achieve team excellence.
• Mentor and guide junior team members.
• 8+ years of experience in a leadership role within the information technology sector across government, banking, manufacturing, or healthcare industries.
• A solid technical foundation rooted in IT department engineering discipline (e.g., platform engineer for AI, systems engineer, information security engineer, cloud engineer, solutions architect).
• Proven experience in preparing organizations for AI implementation—specifically in modernizing data architecture and cloud computing capabilities to support AI agent orchestration.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Exhibits executive presence and can quickly establish credibility with executives and stakeholders.
• Demonstrates a learning mindset and capability to navigate complex, matrixed environments.
• Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative atmosphere.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to meet tight deadlines while producing high-quality outputs.
• Excellent communicator who can convey intricate concepts clearly and succinctly.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication, analytical abilities, and presentation skills; capable of engaging clients and responding effectively to inquiries.
• Skilled in data analysis and synthesis; adept at applying patterns and frameworks while deriving and justifying conclusions to address client challenges.
• Capable of working independently, with intrinsic motivation to collaborate across teams and assist in the workflow of others within a diverse global team.
