Director, Centralized Contracts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the development of end-to-end (E2E) contract management capabilities across Geisinger.

• Enhancing the enterprise contracting process by assisting contract teams and business stakeholders in promoting education, understanding, and adherence to contracting practices and procedures.

• Delivering value through the establishment of a robust foundation and effective process management across all aspects of the contract function and its progressive maturity.

• Directing the planning, management, and implementation of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) processes both within the department and throughout the enterprise (e.g., new functional rollouts and capabilities).

• Collaborating with executive sponsors and the Steering Committee to ensure compliance with contract management processes and policies across the enterprise.

• Leading testing activities for new rollouts and ensuring adherence to approved policies, processes, and controls.

• Supervising the stabilization phase following the new CLM technology rollout to ensure there are no ongoing issues and a seamless transition.

• Ensuring efficient execution to build credibility with internal customers and stakeholders.

• Managing a team of specialists responsible for executing best-practice contracting activities such as demand management, contract management, reporting & analytics, vendor management, and more.

• Overseeing the development and reassessment of processes, tools, systems, training materials, and policies critical to E2E contract management.

• Accountable for ongoing improvements to performance metrics, programs/processes, systems, and innovations to achieve greater business impact and enhance CLM maturity.

• Driving resolutions to systemic process, technology, and program gaps; addressing any cross-functional (departmental) challenges.

• Serving as a leader in contracting with consistent execution of processes across the organization.

• Leading change management initiatives to continually develop new processes, analytics, and performance metrics, and better integrate CLM into business unit decision-making across all spending categories.

• Establishing and communicating process mission goals and objectives to all stakeholders.

• Providing insights on performance metrics, target level setting, and prioritization of transformation projects.

• Reporting on the program's effectiveness, including key metrics and process maturity, to senior management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.

• At least five (5) years of progressive leadership experience in contract management, procurement, supply chain, legal operations, business operations, healthcare administration, or a related field.

• Preferred Experience: Background in the healthcare industry, process improvement, and business transformation initiatives.
