This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create and implement strategic plans to meet the sales objectives, booking goals, and revenue targets for the Cardiac business.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Product Management to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities.
• Attend sales, product management, and strategic planning meetings to support key opportunities and business initiatives.
• Formulate and execute effective strategies for ongoing sales opportunities related to cardiac products and services.
• Lead negotiations and finalize new business agreements while achieving or surpassing assigned sales targets.
• Assist in proposal development, bid defense meetings, client presentations, and strategic customer interactions.
• Propel pipeline development activities and ensure alignment between business development goals and operational capabilities.
• Monitor and assess key performance indicators to evaluate sales effectiveness and uncover growth opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment among business development, product development, and service delivery efforts.
• Provide continuous training on products, markets, and therapeutic areas to Business Development teams.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management to aid in the creation of new offerings that fulfill identified customer and market demands.
• Develop qualitative and quantitative analyses to support strategic initiatives and inform business decision-making.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with sponsors, key stakeholders, and strategic accounts in the clinical research sector.
• Represent Clario, a division of Thermo Fisher Scientific, at industry events, conferences, customer meetings, and other business development activities.
• Manage administrative tasks, including travel planning, expense management, and reporting obligations.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Clinical Research, Healthcare, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record in executing strategic sales initiatives both directly and through a professional sales organization.
• Experience in clinical research, diagnostics, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or CRO environments.
• Demonstrated success in major account management and consultative selling within complex healthcare or clinical research markets.
• Proven ability to develop and penetrate large multinational accounts and cultivate long-term customer relationships.
• Strong history of achieving and surpassing ambitious sales and revenue targets.
• Experience in both large and emerging growth organizations is preferred.
• Solid understanding of clinical research processes, diagnostics, and therapeutic service offerings.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship management abilities.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with experience using data to inform business decisions.
• Highly organized with the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM platforms.
• Willingness to travel regularly for business, including both domestic and international travel.
