
Director, CAR T Channel Strategy – Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement channel strategies that enhance customer experience, improve operational efficiency, comply with regulations, and optimize gross-to-net (GTN) outcomes.
• Act as the business lead for third-party logistics (3PL) collaborations and distribution operations that support CAR T commercialization.
• Direct the development of specialty pharmacy and distribution strategies to address current and future portfolio demands.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Finance, Commercial, and Legal teams to assess alternative channel designs and their effects on GTN performance.
• Evaluate channel economics and propose strategies that enhance reimbursement, contracting, distribution expenses, and commercial profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Manage state licensing strategies, renewals, compliance obligations, and ensure regulatory preparedness.
• Assist with government pricing initiatives through cross-functional coordination, process governance, and oversight of operations.
• Oversee distribution governance, service-level management, and performance evaluations across external partners.
• Facilitate launch planning, market expansion, and new product introductions through a scalable channel infrastructure.
• Create reports, analytics, and performance metrics that illuminate channel effectiveness and operational health.
• Identify and address operational, regulatory, and commercial risks throughout the distribution network.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, specialty distribution, market access, commercial operations, or related fields.
• Proven experience in developing and executing channel strategies for specialty pharmaceuticals, cell therapies, gene therapies, or other intricate therapies.
• Strong knowledge of gross-to-net (GTN) principles, channel economics, distribution agreements, and commercial contracting.
• A demonstrated capability to design channel solutions that enhance GTN performance while catering to the needs of customers, providers, and patients.
