This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Act as the business-side architect for Salesforce, overseeing the data model, process design, and change governance while managing the SFDX-based CI/CD release process.
• Lead and mentor a Salesforce developer and a GTM analyst, converting business requirements into actionable tasks, ensuring delivery accountability, and fostering team autonomy.
• Provide governance for integrated GTM tools, including Gong, Orum, and the inContact / Salesforce integration layer.
• Oversee the relationship with OneTrust, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics, ensuring compliance and accuracy in marketing data flows.
• Collaborate with the data team (Snowflake, dbt, Power BI) to centralize marketing analytics and highlight campaign performance, attribution, and funnel reporting that marketing and sales can utilize.
• Manage the internally developed .NET CRM service, serving as the integration layer between the PEX platform and Salesforce REST APIs, coordinating with PEX engineering for its ongoing maintenance and evolution.
• Establish KPIs, dashboards, and a culture of measurement across the function, focusing on meaningful insights rather than noise.
• Serve as the day-to-day decision-making interface between the CIO and the team on business systems matters, minimizing escalations and facilitating swift execution.
• Assess and recommend changes to tools with a preference for simplicity, AI capabilities, and total cost of ownership.
• Over 7 years of experience in business systems, GTM technology, marketing operations, or a closely related field, with direct hands-on experience with Salesforce and HubSpot.
• Significant experience in managing and developing individual contributor reports within technical or operational roles.
• Sufficient technical knowledge to evaluate architecture, draft a requirements document, make integration decisions, and hold developers accountable.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, change management, and release governance.
• Understanding of IVR integrations (inContact, Five9, Genesys, or similar technologies).
• Knowledge of modern data stacks (Snowflake, dbt, Power BI, or similar BI tools).
• Proficient in consent management platforms (OneTrust or similar) and Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics / Posthog.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to enhance governance over tools and platforms linked to CRM systems.
• Excellent communication skills that bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders across marketing, sales, and engineering.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
• Solid understanding of GTM data flows, attribution models, and integration patterns between CRM, marketing automation, and BI.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
