Director, Business Relationships – IT BRM

📋 Description

• Cultivate and sustain trusted relationships with business leaders and stakeholders.

• Oversee a team of Business Relationship Managers.

• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between IT and business teams.

• Ensure alignment of IT strategies with business goals.

• Manage IT demand by prioritizing initiatives, overseeing project pipelines, and optimizing resource allocation.

• Track and report on the performance and value of IT services.

• Advocate for business requirements within IT to guarantee that solutions fulfill needs and provide measurable benefits.

• Collaborate with portfolio and project managers to ensure successful project delivery and benefits realization.

• Identify chances for process enhancements, innovation, and digital transformation.

• Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts or issues related to IT service delivery.

• Assist in change management initiatives and promote the adoption of IT solutions.

• Remain updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Business Relationship Management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Proven leadership experience managing teams focused on stakeholder engagement and service delivery.

• Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL.

• Familiarity with project management principles.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities.

• Capacity to convert business needs into IT requirements and the reverse.

• Experience in portfolio management, demand management, and strategic planning.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection for remote work.

• Stable Wi-Fi with adequate bandwidth for video conferencing, cloud-based tools, and other online work tasks.

• HIPAA-compliant work environment with a secure workspace.

• No use of public Wi-Fi unless connected through a secure company-provided VPN.

• Adherence to relevant HIPAA privacy and security regulations.
