This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Achieve or surpass revenue targets for the TIME product line while fulfilling outlined strategic goals for client accounts.
• Assess how Tempus clinical trial solutions can aid clients’ R&D goals and negotiate to advance projects.
• Identify leads, map stakeholders, and engage with Key Account Directors.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Alliance Management, Operations, and Account Teams across client stakeholder groups and Tempus’ offerings.
• Assist in contract execution for designated client accounts.
• Cultivate relationships with R&D and commercial leaders at partner organizations.
• Recognize, develop, and facilitate additional value-adding opportunities.
• Formulate strategies to address customers’ known challenges.
• Navigate enterprise sales processes and persuade client stakeholders to act promptly.
• Oversee existing business while identifying new growth opportunities.
• Monitor strategic objectives and revenue targets; evaluate progress with Account Teams and Tempus leadership.
• Relay client feedback to leadership to aid in the development of the Life Sciences portfolio.
• Remain updated on the pharmaceutical sector, regulatory landscape, emerging policy changes, and client priorities.
• Travel approximately 40% of working time, both domestically and internationally.
• Carry out other tasks as assigned.
• Comprehensive understanding of clinical development and trial recruitment principles.
• Strong knowledge of the drug development process and its various stages.
• Solid grasp of clinical site operations and provider care delivery.
• Entrepreneurial sales mindset in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
• Proactive approach that connects ideas with actionable solutions.
• Established relationships with pharmaceutical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successfully navigating complex client organizations.
• Capability to establish ambitious yet achievable strategies and tactics.

• Outstanding account management and issue communication skills.
• Ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Interest in oncology and cancer genomics.
• At least 7+ years of Business Development and Sales experience in the Life Sciences (Pharma/Biotech) sector, including CROs or other service providers, focusing on clinical trial operations, patient recruitment, or site selection.
• Bachelor’s degree in a Science or Business field.
• Advanced degree (MBA, PhD, or Healthcare certification) is preferred.
• Incentive compensation may be provided.
• Restricted stock units may be available.
