This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and oversee the Business Architecture function for the Payments division.
• Establish and uphold business capabilities, value streams, ownership models, decision pathways, and operating model perspectives.
• Direct the examination of business processes, transitions, challenges, fragmentation, and decision-making gaps.
• Create target-state operating models and business processes that foster scalability, efficiency, and enhanced execution.
• Enhance the translation between business and technology to ensure business priorities are accurately represented in architecture, solution design, and execution.
• Collaborate with Business, Operations, Product, PMO, and Technology teams to enhance alignment and minimize friction.
• Recognize and prioritize redesign opportunities that facilitate automation, AI integration, innovation, and scalability.
• Conduct workshops and decision-making forums to achieve stakeholder alignment on current-state challenges, future-state designs, and transformation priorities.
• Develop and standardize business architecture methodologies, templates, and artifacts across Payments, including value stream maps, capability maps, process flows, ownership matrices, decision rights, and target-state operating model documentation.
• Assist in executive decision-making with clear analysis, recommendations, and architectural outputs.
• Cultivate talent and team capabilities to deeply understand the business, challenge existing norms, and drive innovation.
• Ensure that business architecture initiatives enhance execution, decrease rework, and facilitate scalable change.
• Recruit, develop, mentor, lead, and retain top-tier talent, focusing on creating and enhancing a team and culture that implements best-in-class practices to ensure high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.
• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• Over 10 years of experience in Business Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, operating model design, business transformation, process excellence, strategy execution, or similar fields.
• Proven expertise in both Business Architecture and Enterprise Architecture.
• Demonstrated experience in defining business capabilities, value streams, ownership models, decision pathways, and target-state operating models.
• Strong background in translating business strategy into business architecture, operating models, and delivery decisions.
• Experience collaborating across Business, Operations, Product, PMO, and Technology in a complex, matrixed setting.
• Proven ability to identify and pursue innovation opportunities that enhance efficiency, scalability, and business performance.
• Experience leading or supporting initiatives in process redesign, automation, AI integration, and scalable transformation.
• Excellent facilitation, stakeholder management, and executive communication capabilities.
• Experience in building consensus among senior stakeholders and influencing decisions without having direct authority.
• Experience in regulated, operationally complex, or highly structured environments.
