This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the analysis of claim denials, rejections, and edits to uncover trends, root causes, and opportunities for enhancements.
• Create and execute solutions aimed at improving billing performance and operational efficiency.
• Lead company-wide initiatives designed to minimize unbilled days and expedite cash collections.
• Deliver presentations on findings, recommendations, and process improvement strategies to both executive and operational leaders.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Operations, Revenue Integrity, Denials Management, and client-facing teams.
• Establish scalable workflows and operational frameworks that facilitate long-term business expansion.
• Guide and develop a growing team while promoting accountability, engagement, and ongoing improvement.
• Act as a strategic partner in shaping the future of billing operations across various clients and markets.
• Balance hands-on analytical tasks with strategic leadership in a dynamic healthcare setting.
• Progressive leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations.
• Strong proficiency in identifying root causes and crafting actionable solutions for complex operational challenges.
• Experience spanning multiple functional areas of the revenue cycle.
• Proven success in driving process improvement and operational optimization initiatives.
• Advanced critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a talent for influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, multi-client environment.
• Adaptable, curious, and willing to challenge conventional methods.
• Preferred experience with Epic, Cerner, or other significant healthcare information systems.
• Familiarity with clearinghouse operations and claim management processes is preferred.
• Experience with a payer, health system, consulting organization, or healthcare technology company is preferred.
• Exposure to automation technologies, AI-enabled tools, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, bots, or workflow automation platforms is preferred.
• Preferred experience in leading enterprise transformation or operational excellence initiatives.
