This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Assist in the expansion of Businessolver’s Agency by collaborating with the sales team, clients, and channel management team.
• Engage clients in strategies related to health and wellbeing.
• Market, evaluate, and implement Voluntary Benefits coverage for clients.
• Communicate and collaborate with insurance providers and brokers.
• Establish and nurture relationships with clients and vendor partners.
• Travel to visit insurance companies and clients as required.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Over 7 years of experience in voluntary benefits insurance and/or in a brokerage setting is required.
• Proven success in working with and securing opportunities with large clients across various industries.
• Familiarity with account management for core benefit offerings.
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of employer health and wellbeing strategies and the current landscape of solutions that yield results.
• Life, Health & Accident licenses are mandatory, or the ability to obtain them within 90 days of employment; must be maintained annually.
• Professional benefit designations are preferred.
• Capability to analyze and interpret insurance data.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to quickly learn and use other computer applications.
• Demonstrated ability to create and present effective presentations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Experience in relationship building is essential.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple projects effectively.
