This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Lead the design and implementation of internal AI agents and automation workflows utilizing Snowflake Cortex, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.
• Guide the development of reusable tools, APIs, and components tailored for agentic workflows.
• Direct workflows involving retrieval-augmented generation, context management strategies, and prompt patterns.
• Establish evaluation frameworks, regression tests, monitoring patterns, metrics, guardrails, and validation processes to ensure AI-agent reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to transition AI workflows from prototypes to production environments.
• Oversee the design, construction, and maintenance of production-grade Python applications, libraries, and services.
• Advocate for object-oriented design and software engineering best practices, including modular design, automated testing, CI/CD, code reviews, observability, and thorough documentation.
• Drive the implementation of reusable engineering patterns and scalable technical solutions across partner engagements.
• Lead the development of reusable Python libraries that support clean room capabilities, audience onboarding, ingestion, indexing, activation, campaign and impression delivery analysis, reach and frequency, attribution, and incrementality.
• Abstract analytical and data collaboration workflows into self-service components.
• Enable configurable feature deployment across partner collaborations.
• Hire, develop, and retain a high-performing software and AI engineering team.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical design discussions, and operational best practices.
• Establish engineering standards for AI-assisted workflows, agentic system design, reusable libraries, and production automation.
• Promote reliability, maintainability, and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership and mentoring of engineering teams.
• Extensive hands-on experience in developing production-grade software using Python, encompassing libraries, services, testing, CI/CD, and code reviews.
• Hands-on experience in building applications with LLMs, RAG, vector databases, prompt engineering, or frameworks like Snowflake Cortex, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar tools.
• Experience in designing AI-enabled workflows, reasoning agents, tool-using agents, or intricate automation systems.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or analogous technologies.
• Strong comprehension of production system design, including observability, reliability, scalability, performance tuning, and operational support.
• Preferred: Familiarity with data clean room concepts or platforms such as Snowflake Clean Rooms, Databricks Clean Rooms, and LiveRamp/Habu.
• Preferred: Background in advertising technology, audience activation, campaign delivery, reach and frequency, attribution, incrementality, or reporting workflows.
• Preferred: Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification, Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate, or similar cloud/data platform certification.
