QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain comprehensive automated tests utilizing Playwright with TypeScript.

• Develop reusable testing utilities and frameworks to support scalable and continuous testing efforts.

• Automate the verification of intricate data flows involving JSON, Excel, and S3.

• Collaborate with developers and QA leads to pinpoint, replicate, and resolve issues within Salesforce Lightning applications.

• Integrate test execution within CI/CD pipelines to facilitate seamless regression testing.

• Contribute to the planning, strategy, and documentation of tests in Jira.

• Ensure that automated test outcomes are dependable, efficient, and in line with business workflows.

• Work alongside developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to comprehend and validate complex business processes.

• Define and monitor automation metrics such as coverage, execution time, and defect leakage rate.

• Collaborate with DevOps and Analytics teams to enhance quality gates within CI/CD pipelines.

• Expand test coverage to include backend data quality checks using SQL or Athena for S3/AWS data flows.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in test automation.

• Practical experience with Playwright and TypeScript.

• Familiarity with Salesforce testing or a willingness to acquire knowledge.

• Basic understanding of AWS, including S3 and Lambda.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Comfortable with remote work and asynchronous collaboration.

• Ability to grasp system interactions across APIs, data pipelines, and user interfaces.

• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions is a plus.

• SQL knowledge for data validation is advantageous.

• Exposure to Jira, Agile/Scrum methodologies, or test management tools is a plus.

• Understanding of API testing is beneficial.

• Familiarity with Salesforce test automation frameworks such as Provar or Selenium WebDriver for Lightning is beneficial.

• Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools like Datadog or CloudWatch is a plus.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship, both now and in the future.
