This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the formulation and implementation of the enterprise automation strategy for calibration operations.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize automation initiatives aimed at improving productivity, turnaround time, and operational uniformity.
• Serve as the main point of contact between Operations, IT, and essential business stakeholders to guarantee that automation solutions fulfill both technical and business specifications.
• Facilitate change management initiatives to ensure the effective adoption of automation tools, systems, and processes.
• Create and present training programs, communication strategies, and direct support to encourage adoption at all organizational levels.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices relevant to automation in calibration and metrology.
• Collaborate with IT to establish technical requirements, system integration necessities, and data security considerations for automation projects.
• Travel to laboratory locations to lead or assist in the implementation of automation tools, ensuring seamless rollouts and hands-on troubleshooting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
• Over 8 years of experience in operational leadership, process enhancement, or technology deployment, ideally within calibration, manufacturing, or industrial services.
• Demonstrated experience in leading change management initiatives and fostering technology adoption.
• Strong technical knowledge with the capability to convert operational requirements into technical specifications.
• Experience in managing cross-functional projects and collaborating with IT teams.
• Willingness to travel (up to 30%-40%) to facilitate implementation and adoption across various locations.
