Director, Assistant General Counsel – Strategic Transactions, Corporate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Act as the legal lead for Procore’s involvement in all strategic transactions.

• Collaborate with various stakeholders within the LRC Department and across functions.

• Function as a primary legal advisor to Executives on the company's most critical issues.

• Create and implement suitable, technology-driven operational frameworks.

• Offer guidance and advice to business team leaders on legal concerns.

• Oversee the budgets and performance of outside counsel.

• Remain knowledgeable and provide insights on the implications of relevant regulations.

• Direct and carry out various special projects and strategic initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of pertinent experience.

• Extensive background in M&A, venture capital, and general corporate law.

• Highly adaptable, results-driven, solution-oriented, and a resilient self-starter.

• Innovative problem-solver capable of managing fluctuating client demands.

• Detail-oriented, organized, efficient, and resourceful.

• Clear communicator skilled in simplifying complex concepts.

• Exceptional business insight, judgment, and discretion.

• Functional understanding of public company accounting and corporate finance.

• Must be admitted to the bar, active, and in good standing with the state bar.

• Excellent interpersonal abilities.
