This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more state.
• Establish standards, taxonomies, and requirements within core source systems to ensure proper data flow and reporting.
• Evaluate business performance metrics including churn, retention, conversion, unit economics, funnel effectiveness, product adoption, product telemetry, and marketing analytics.
• Convert intricate data sets into actionable insights and recommendations for leadership and teams.
• Drive the multi-year strategy for analytical data modeling, structure, and governance.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to create scalable and dependable analytical models.
• Define the strategy for AI-driven analytics and prepare data for product and operational AI applications.
• Oversee Looker strategy, enhance dashboards, manage platform maintenance, and facilitate self-service reporting.
• Establish definitions for metrics, enforce quality standards, and implement data governance practices.
• Spearhead the company's OKR process and performance reviews.
• Recruit, nurture, and lead the Analytics & Insights team encompassing analytics engineering, business intelligence, and analysis.
• Over 10 years of experience in an analytics or data-related role.
• More than 4 years of experience in people management.
• Proven history of setting strategic direction, developing analytical data models, and building teams beyond routine reporting.
• Experience in translating data into insights that influence leadership decisions and drive measurable business results.
• Background in constructing analytical models, systems, and practices that create sustainable organizational value.
• Proficient in SQL, data modeling, fundamental statistics, dbt or similar transformation tools, and Looker.
• Possess technical judgment and practical experience in structuring analytical data and maintaining consistent definitions.
• Insight into AI applications in analytics, including relevant use cases and the importance of human judgment.
• Ability to comprehend business drivers and determine suitable next steps.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills for team development and conveying analytical concepts to executives.
