Director Analyst – Direct Spend Procurement Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

• Generate fresh insights and concepts through thought leadership to enhance the client's capability to respond effectively.

• Conduct thorough analyses to uncover the root causes of client issues.

• Exhibit thought leadership by establishing Insight positions within a team of analysts.

• Research, evaluate, and forecast market trends to offer actionable insights.

• Provide actionable recommendations to clients and prospects that align with the designated content area.

• Create and present high-value materials for a variety of events.

• Assist BTI and Sales teams in developing content and enhancing engagement.

• Actively engage in discussions related to innovation, ideation, and research.

• Mentor and guide junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a graduate degree is preferred.

• Over 10 years of experience working with procurement technologies that lead to successful transformations in Direct Spend categories.

• Proven experience in directing strategic transformation initiatives with a focus on digital enablement for direct materials procurement.

• Strong familiarity with solutions that aid direct materials sourcing and procurement, including SAP Ariba, GEP, Ivalua, Oracle, Levadata, and SourceDay.

• Experience in integrating procurement technology with ERPs, MRPs, or other supply chain technologies.

• Preferred familiarity with Supplier Risk Management solutions like Everstream Analytics, Exiger, apexanalytix, Prewave, and Resilinc.

• Ability to demonstrate executive presence and establish credibility with stakeholders.

• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to work under tight deadlines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with analytical and presentation capabilities.

• Subject matter expertise and comfort in presenting at both large and small-scale engagements.

• Capability to effectively represent Gartner's research methodologies and strategies at all levels.
