This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Develop and maintain the AI transformation roadmap, ensuring alignment with operational priorities across Revenue, Data, BI, and go-to-market functions.
• Set OKRs for AI adoption, productivity impact, and tool ROI, and communicate progress to senior leadership.
• Assess, recommend, and oversee the AI tool stack, balancing capabilities, costs, and organizational readiness.
• Identify the most impactful AI use cases across various business functions and organize delivery based on their impact and feasibility.
• Create, prompt, and refine AI solutions directly by engaging with the tools.
• Design and implement agentic AI workflows that automate complex processes across business functions, advancing beyond single-prompt tools to systems that can reason, plan, and act.
• Collaborate seamlessly with Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to link AI models to internal systems, data sources, and third-party tools, understanding how to configure, extend, and manage those integrations.
• Utilize AI coding tools (including Claude Code and GPT Codex) to expedite solution development, automate scripts, and construct internal tooling without the need for full engineering resources.
• Partner with the AI Admin on integrations, prompt libraries, and readiness for new solutions in production.
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for emerging AI capabilities, rigorously testing tools prior to wider deployment.
• Manage and nurture a small team, establishing clear scope, priorities, and success metrics for each position.
• Foster a high-trust, high-output team culture rooted in curiosity, iteration, and business impact.
• Oversee the AI governance framework for the organization, defining policies for acceptable use, data handling, model selection, and vendor risk across all AI tools and workflows.
• Implement guardrails for agentic AI systems, ensuring that automated workflows include appropriate human-in-the-loop checkpoints, audit trails, and rollback procedures.
• Collaborate with Legal, Security, and IT to confirm that AI integrations comply with data privacy, compliance, and information security standards (including SOC 2, GDPR, or customer data handling requirements).
• Stay informed about the evolving regulatory landscape surrounding AI and proactively identify business implications before they escalate into obstacles.
• Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all AI tools, integrations, and MCP connections utilized across the organization, with documented risk ratings and review schedules.
• Act as the primary contact for all AI-related inquiries across ActivTrak — all teams, functions, and use cases must route through you first.
• Manage and lead the AI steering cadence: facilitate cross-functional meetings with business leaders, set the agenda, drive decision-making, and ensure follow-through on commitments.
• Communicate effectively upwards. You are comfortable presenting roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership, and you can articulate trade-offs in business terms rather than technical jargon.
• Influence peers across functions without direct authority. Build a case and bring others along with you.
• Represent the AI Transform function in leadership forums, communicating progress, priorities, and risks.
• 7 years of experience in operations, RevOps, GTM strategy, or technology transformation, including at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
• Proven hands-on experience in implementing AI solutions within a business context.
• Proficiency with modern AI platforms and the GTM stack: LLMs, no-code/low-code automation, CRM AI features, sequencing tools, enrichment platforms, and attribution systems.
• Familiarity with agentic AI concepts and architectures. You understand how to design systems where AI models can take multi-step actions, not just respond to queries.
• Working knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) or equivalent integration patterns for connecting AI to live data sources and internal tools.
• Practical experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GPT Codex, or similar. You are adept at utilizing these tools to build scripts, automate workflows, and enhance internal development.
• Demonstrated understanding of AI governance and compliance considerations: acceptable use policies, data privacy, vendor risk, audit trails, and human oversight requirements.
• Proactive learner who remains updated on the rapidly evolving AI landscape — including new model releases, emerging frameworks, and developing best practices — and translates that information into actionable guidance for the business.
• Experience in a SaaS company is strongly preferred.
• Clear and confident communicator able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
• Intuitive about change management. You recognize that the most challenging aspect of AI transformation is behavioral change, not technical hurdles.
• Strong ownership orientation. You make decisions, iterate, and take accountability for outcomes.
• Competitive compensation and benefits.
• Minimal travel required.
• Limited physical demands.
