Director, Agentic Lab

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the rapid prototyping and technical validation of agentic AI solutions and autonomous workflows.

• Assess foundation models, agent frameworks, orchestration technologies, and developer tools.

• Create reusable proof-of-concepts, accelerators, and reference implementations for the Agentic Factory.

• Collaborate with AI Engineering, Platform Engineering, Product, and Architecture teams to transition successful prototypes into production.

• Establish best practices for prompt engineering, reasoning strategies, memory architectures, evaluation, and observability.

• Contribute to enterprise standards, documentation, and reusable engineering patterns for AI agents.

• Mentor AI engineers and foster a culture of experimentation, innovation, and continuous learning.

• Report directly to the Executive Director, Agentic Architecture & Lab.

• Travel 10% domestically and/or internationally.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Over 7 years of experience in developing AI, machine learning, or software engineering solutions, including experience in technical leadership.

• Practical expertise with LLMs, agent frameworks, RAG, vector databases, APIs, Python, and cloud-native development.

• Strong background in software engineering with experience in creating production-grade AI applications.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working across research, engineering, and business teams.

• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated sectors.

• Proven experience in building enterprise agentic AI platforms and developer ecosystems.
