This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead strategic initiatives, cultivate outstanding teams, and influence the growth and longevity of merchant partnerships at Affirm.
• Define the vision and strategy for Account Management within a diverse portfolio of complex merchant partners, ensuring alignment of team priorities with company and commercial objectives.
• Guide and nurture a high-performing team, fostering accountability, strategic cohesion, and scalable execution throughout the portfolio.
• Enhance portfolio performance focusing on retention, expansion, product adoption, operational efficiency, and long-term relationship value.
• Tackle complex and ambiguous business challenges while balancing merchant requirements, operational realities, and Affirm’s strategic long-term goals.
• Forge trusted relationships with executive stakeholders at key merchants, acting as a senior strategic advisor on critical decisions, escalations, portfolio prioritization, and operational execution.
• Shape the broader commercial strategy and organizational focus by leveraging insights from strategic merchant partnerships, portfolio trends, and market dynamics.
• Create scalable operating models, business rhythms, and performance frameworks to enhance organizational effectiveness and improve customer experience.
• Collaborate across functions with leaders in Product, Sales, Marketing, Analytics, Risk, Finance, and Operations to achieve merchant and business objectives at scale.
• Over 12 years of experience in account management, strategic partnerships, customer success, business development, consulting, or similar commercial leadership positions.
• Proven track record of influencing organizational strategy, operating models, and cross-functional decision-making in complex customer-facing environments during periods of high growth.
• Demonstrated capability to align cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities with clarity and empathy.
• Established ability to formulate strategy, influence senior stakeholders, and drive measurable business results in large enterprise partnerships.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with experience addressing complex, ambiguous issues and making long-term impactful decisions.
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities, including experience engaging with executives, negotiating priorities, and influencing without direct authority.
• Experience in fintech, payments, commerce, SaaS, or other technology-driven sectors is desirable.
