This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Prepare offers based on quotes and requests.
• Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and potential clients in the territory.
• Prospect and schedule meetings with existing and prospective clients.
• Ensure that products or services are specified within municipalities and engineering firms.
• Address and resolve any product-related issues with clients when necessary.
• Engage with various stakeholders in areas conducive to development.
• Maintain effective communication with management and the internal sales representative.
• Plan and organize promotional activities such as seminars and site visits for end-users and distributors.
• Create and cultivate business relationships with distributors.
• Develop strategies or plans to increase our market share in a specific territory.
• Actively participate in professional organizations to promote Mueller products.
• Weekly travel outside your residence location to ensure effective territory coverage.
• Attend sales meetings outside of Quebec and Canada.
• University or college degree related to the construction field.
• 3-5 years of experience in sales or customer service (or equivalent experience - education).
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to identify solutions for clients (consultative approach).
• Results-oriented and capable of working independently within a team.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
