Direct Response Copywriter – Performance Marketing, Funnels

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You write landing pages and advertorial funnels that have proven to convert – from the headline to the final CTA.

• You create ad copies for creatives that grab attention in the feed and lead users further down the funnel.

• You craft video scripts that trigger purchase motivations and address objections before they arise.

• You analyze target audiences in the D2C context prior to writing – deriving insights on which messages resonate at different funnel stages.

• You actively utilize AI tools during the writing process and develop prompts and workflows that the entire team can reuse.

• You iterate on texts based on performance data, directly incorporating test results into new versions.

• You efficiently navigate approval processes with clients and internally – aiming to minimize revision loops.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess at least 2–3 years of demonstrable experience in direct response copywriting.

• You have worked in a D2C context – either at a performance marketing agency or a D2C brand, without a purely content or editorial background.

• You understand what needs to happen on a landing page or within a funnel for someone to convert, and you implement this craft effectively.

• You actively use multiple AI tools – such as ChatGPT, Claude, and others – not just for writing, but to develop repeatable workflows to share.

• You write in a manner that reflects how the target audience speaks – avoiding complex phrasing, poetic copywriting, or self-serving prose.

• You are keen to understand the impact of your texts and optimize them based on data.

• You bring self-motivation, work in a structured manner, and actively pursue personal development.
