Direct Response Copywriter – Facebook Ads

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• **YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

• - Create batches of video ad scripts for Facebook/Meta

• - Develop multiple hooks and angles for each offer, rather than relying on a single “hero concept”

• - Assist in validating claims, positioning, proof, and CTA logic

• - Evaluate current ads and swiftly rewrite ineffective scripts

• - Facilitate split-testing across various hooks, leads, and presentations

• - Enhance language in related assets as needed: landing pages, VSL sections, presentations, and CTA tests

• - Collaborate closely with the media and creative teams to ensure scripts are practical and ready for production

⛳️ Requirements

• **Essential Qualifications:**

• - Over 3 years of experience in writing direct-response copy within a genuine performance-marketing setting

• - Proven track record of writing Facebook/Meta video ads that have been successfully executed

• - Familiarity with hooks, pattern interruptions, proof, objection handling, and CTA logic

• - Ability to write clearly, quickly, and with strong commercial awareness

• - Capability to articulate why a piece of copy should perform effectively before it is launched

• - High proficiency in English

• **Preferred Attributes:**

• - Experience writing for information products, coaching, education, agency services, trading, SaaS, or high-ticket direct-response offers

• - Possession of swipe files, hook libraries, angle documents, and a well-defined writing process

• - Proficient use of AI tools, not as a replacement for critical thinking, but to enhance research, ideation, iteration, and formatting

• - Natural ability to identify logical inconsistencies

• - Experience reviewing and enhancing landing pages, sales pages, VSLs, or presentations, going beyond mere “wordsmithing”
