Digital/IT Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Design resilient, redundant, and highly-available infrastructure solutions for classified environments, encompassing compute, storage, and virtualization layers, along with data retention and archival solutions that adhere to compliance standards and security requirements.

• Create architectural diagrams and system design documents that align with internal configuration standards for classified systems.

• Provide guidance to support teams regarding system administration, engineering, and integration challenges.

• Engage in and lead technical meetings with team members, engineers, program personnel, and leadership, representing the organization in matters related to the functional area.

• Assist proposal teams and technical review groups in formulating technical solutions.

• Build strong business relationships and promote a culture of open collaboration across teams.

• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of: Virtualization (VMware, Hyper V, or similar), Windows and Linux enterprise environments, Storage solutions (SAN/NAS), Identity and access management (AD, PKI, MFA), RMF, NIST, ICD, and DoD cybersecurity frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field along with at least 5 years of experience.

• Proven experience in providing technical solutions for IT systems.

• Background in developing system designs, including architecture and deployment.

• Familiarity with infrastructure technologies such as server operating systems, server hardware, storage, networks, virtualization, encryption, security, archival systems, and clients.

• An active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is necessary before the start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
