Digital/IT Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Design resilient, redundant, and highly-available infrastructure solutions for classified environments across compute, storage, and virtualization layers, in addition to data retention and archival solutions, ensuring adherence to standards and security protocols.

• Create architectural diagrams and system design documents that align with internal configuration standards for classified systems.

• Provide guidance to support teams regarding system administration, engineering, and integration challenges.

• Engage in and lead technical meetings with team members, engineers, program personnel, and leadership, serving as a representative of the organization in functional area matters.

• Assist proposal teams and technical review groups in developing technical solutions.

• Cultivate effective business relationships and promote an open culture of collaboration across teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience.

• Proficient in delivering technical solutions for IT systems.

• Experienced in developing system designs, including architecture and deployment.

• Familiarity with infrastructure technologies such as server operating systems, server hardware, storage, networks, virtualization, encryption, security, archival systems, and clients.

• An active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is mandatory prior to the start date.

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
