Digital Workplace Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Ensure that identity-driven security utilizing Entra ID aligns with established standards and frameworks.

• Maintain and enhance solutions and service levels for key strategic managed service clients.

• Oversee the platform to ensure services are functioning effectively and remain cost-efficient.

• Create and sustain strategic roadmaps aimed at continuous service and digital platform improvements.

• Generate and update monthly service and platform reports regularly.

• Foster and maintain robust relationships with managed services clients, understanding their business requirements and identifying opportunities for further collaboration.

• Collaborate closely with team members to identify opportunities and leverage existing capabilities to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.

• Keep abreast of the latest M365 and Entra ID technological advancements and advocate for Digital Workplace and cybersecurity within the organization and with clients.

• Cultivate strong client relationships through quality execution and personable advice, establishing trust and driving long-term business partnerships.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid experience in producing high-quality documentation and solution artifacts.

• Microsoft certifications and accreditations in M365, such as MS-102 and SC-300, are essential for this role.

• Additional Microsoft certifications and accreditations, including MS-721, MS-700, SC-401, and AZ-900, are desirable but not mandatory.

• Experience and knowledge of on-premises Active Directory and Entra ID, including GPO, MFA, PIM, RBAC, External ID, Conditional Access policies, Passwordless solutions, and implementing security configurations like the Microsoft Zero Trust Framework.

• Familiarity with Microsoft, NCSC, NIST, CIS, ISO27001, and Cyber Essentials frameworks and best practices, and how they translate into controls, policies, and configuration baselines is valuable.

• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and connectivity requirements (e.g., Entra Connect, networking fundamentals, and service performance).

• Experience and knowledge of on-premises Exchange, Hybrid, and Exchange Online.

• Experience in migrating from on-premises to cloud-hosted solutions throughout the Microsoft 365 stack.

• Familiarity with Digital Workplace cybersecurity tools such as BeyondTrust, Tenable, Knowbe4, and Island is beneficial.

• Proficiency in PowerShell, Graph API, and automation.

• Experience with Microsoft Teams.
