Digital Transformation Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Deliver business analysis services for intricate business and technology projects involving a variety of stakeholders.

• Gather, analyze, document, validate, prioritize, and manage business, functional, non-functional, process, and data requirements.

• Facilitate the collection of requirements through interviews, workshops, focus groups, and stakeholder consultations.

• Establish and uphold comprehensive requirements traceability from business objectives to implementation and operational transition.

• Create use cases, business rules, process models, data models, workflows, and requirements specifications.

• Evaluate complex business challenges, opportunities, risks, and strategic objectives.

• Perform current-state and future-state analyses to uncover process improvement and service modernization opportunities.

• Assist with transformation, modernization, migration, and enterprise-wide change initiatives.

• Analyze alternatives, formulate recommendations, and assist in decision-making processes.

• Develop and maintain governance frameworks, standards, policies, processes, and quality controls for business analysis.

• Produce business cases, cost-benefit analyses, feasibility studies, options analyses, decision papers, risk assessments, and executive briefings.

• Identify, analyze, document, and manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, constraints, and mitigation strategies.

• Ensure adherence to project management, enterprise architecture, system development, and governance standards.

• Maintain documentation, approvals, traceability artifacts, governance decisions, and audit records.

• Develop and track performance measures, benefit realization metrics, and post-implementation evaluations.

• Engage and nurture relationships with stakeholders, executive sponsors, project teams, vendors, external partners, and technical resources.

• Facilitate discussions and decision-making processes among business, technical, and executive stakeholders.

• Prepare and present executive briefings, presentations, status reports, recommendations, and stakeholder communications.

• Support business readiness and organizational change initiatives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve results within set timelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience.

• Extensive background in providing business analysis services for complex business and technology initiatives.

• Proficiency in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, prioritization, and management.

• Experience in facilitating workshops, interviews, focus groups, and stakeholder consultations.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.

• Experience in conducting current-state and future-state analysis.

• Demonstrated experience in risk identification, analysis, and mitigation.

• Familiarity with structured project management and governance environments.

• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio, Azure DevOps, business modeling tools, and IBM DOORS or equivalent.
