Digital Transformation and Delivery Lead – Environmental Remediation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee digital delivery for the remediation sector in US West, guiding from strategic planning to execution.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance value via new systems, upgrades to existing systems, and optimized business processes.

• Establish scope, resources, timelines, anticipated benefits, and provide recommendations to leadership.

• Create and refine the digital roadmap while prioritizing initiatives.

• Ensure initiatives align with corporate technology standards and assess emerging technologies such as AI.

• Lead the execution of both new and ongoing projects, including hands-on configuration and development on Smartsheet and Microsoft platforms.

• Manage scope, timelines, quality, benefits, and the selection of technology.

• Evaluate capability gaps and suggest internal, matrixed, or external resources as needed.

• Coordinate and guide matrixed delivery resources without direct line-management authority.

• Convert business requirements into technical directives and clarify technical limitations and alternatives.

• Establish QA/QC processes and assess solution designs for scalability, usability, and compliance.

• Create and implement SOPs, templates, and playbooks.

• Monitor and showcase realized benefits and value over time.

• Collaborate with the regional Digital Director of Operations on strategy, priorities, and progress tracking.

• Foster stakeholder alignment among leadership, project teams, technical resources, and end users.

• Manage leadership reporting and escalation of progress, risks, and value delivered.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS with 8 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education in digital delivery, digital transformation, or a related area.

• Successful completion of a background check is required.

• Preferred: Over 10 years of experience in digital strategy or transformation along with hands-on digital delivery.

• Capability to perform solution work independently and lead delivery through team members.

• Preferred: Direct experience in configuring and managing Smartsheet, particularly Advanced Work Management (AWM).

• Preferred: Experience in configuring Microsoft 365 and Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.

• Preferred: Familiarity with EQuIS, Smartsheet, and the Microsoft suite.

• Ability to set a digital roadmap and prioritize initiatives based on value, urgency, complexity, and capacity.

• Skilled in developing business cases and monitoring realized benefits and value.

• Competent in transforming ambiguous requirements into clear directives and deliverable solutions.

• Ability to coordinate and direct matrixed resources while bridging business and technical teams.

• Awareness of emerging capabilities like AI and their potential value in regulated settings.

• Preferred: Experience in environmental remediation, consulting, or management.
