This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• The Digital Solutions Representative (DSR) will concentrate on implementing both current and future digital strategies.
• The DSR will strive to enhance the reach and uptake of Intuitive’s digital offerings by promoting digital products to selected clients, facilitating adoption, and ensuring that surgeons are educated on how to access and utilize the technology.
• Acting as the intermediary between internal teams and clients, the DSR will gather surgeon feedback, guarantee ease of use through comprehensive training, and share leads with other teams.
• The DSR will work collaboratively across functions to target, enhance product utilization, and support clients in both new and established accounts.
• It is crucial to collaborate with cross-functional teams to excel and provide user-friendly solutions aimed at increasing product use among clinical care teams and surgeons.
• Consult with clients to gain insights into their needs.
• Team up with sales and the Digital Networking team to promote the adoption of the digital portfolio among surgeons.
• Promote the adoption and usage of digital solutions through targeted efforts, customer support, continuous consultation, and comprehensive training on functionality and benefits.
• Foster ongoing growth and development of the digital user base by collaborating with key surgeon thought leaders and other important clients to create a qualified lead funnel.
• Collaborate with Key Account, Clinical, and Capital teams to pinpoint digital solution leads and formulate targeted customer strategies.
• Engage potential clients through video meetings, emails, and in-person interactions when necessary to comprehend their needs and convey the value of our digital solutions.
• In-person meetings may be required as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in the corporate office to understand the assigned business and its requirements.
• Work alongside Sales and Marketing to ensure successful regional and virtual market development events, trade shows, and other industry engagements.
• Develop Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) for the digital portfolio.
• Meet quarterly and annual sales and adoption targets.
• Utilize Salesforce.com to organize activities, manage the pipeline, and report on territory progress.
• Manage administrative responsibilities responsibly, including reporting, tracking outcomes of support activities, and submitting expense reports.
• Assist with product demonstrations and attend cases as required to drive adoption and train surgeons for effective utilization.
• At least 2 years of experience in a business development role within the medical industry.
• Proven track record of successful cross-functional collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to influence customers and leadership through phone and video meetings.
• Capable of clearly communicating and presenting ideas to internal teams and customer-facing stakeholders (surgeons, nurse managers, hospital C-suite leadership).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-directed approach to achieving project and team goals with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work independently from a remote location with some in-person sales activities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to navigate complex sales scenarios.
• Strong time management skills and a meticulous organizational approach in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
