This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
β’ Collaborate closely with state and national leadership to design and execute an innovative Network organizing program aimed at online and offline volunteer recruitment, retention, and voter engagement across each region.
β’ Act as the digital lead for the state, providing direct counsel to State Leadership and National Digital Organizing staff on strategic priorities, assessing the effectiveness of the digital organizing initiatives and online efforts in each region, and spearheading the creation of tailored digital content.
β’ Establish statewide and regional digital organizing goals and recommend resource allocations for the Network Organizing program.
β’ Aid in the development and tracking of key performance metrics for Network Organizing, offering strategic coaching to Regional Organizing Directors to enhance the quality and impact of their programs.
β’ Formulate and implement both long-term and short-term digital content strategies, including statewide and network-level social media plans, while actively monitoring and evaluating feedback from the social media landscape.
β’ Hold regular meetings with Regional Organizing Directors to provide strategic guidance and coaching for digital communications initiatives within their respective regions.
β’ Manage the growth and oversight of the Network Organizing volunteer community, conducting high-quality training for staff and offering strategic support for effective mobilization efforts.
β’ Partner with the National Digital Organizing Manager on content creation and the assessment of digital trends.
β’ Integrate the digital organizing strategy within the communications and organizing teams to ensure cohesive connectivity and maximized program impact.
β’ Develop and facilitate virtual training and informational sessions to support and empower Network Organizing volunteer leaders.
β’ Deliver strategic insights by monitoring key national and state trends, summarizing feedback from volunteers, and transforming insights into actionable recommendations.
β’ Must reside in the state of Wisconsin.
β’ 2β4 years of experience in digital content development and social media management.
β’ Background in digital organizing and planning for field, electoral, and/or issue campaigns.
β’ Proven experience in building, managing, and engaging volunteer communities.
β’ In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, internet culture, and emerging digital trends.
β’ Exceptional written communication abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
β’ Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic office environment, accompanied by personal enthusiasm, optimism, and a sense of humor.
β’ Experience in political, coalition, firm, or organizing settings required; familiarity with independent expenditure organizations and campaigns is preferred.
β’ Creativity, a keen eye for design, and proficiency with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, etc.) preferred.
β’ Comfortable utilizing digital mediums and platforms to capture personal stories, such as through video recording and photography; video/photo editing and production skills are preferred.
